Newsflash

Lawrence "Larry" Hamilton, Sr., died after a lengthy illness, Tuesday, November 10, 2009, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

Larry was born Jan. 31, 1936, in Rocky Ford, Otero County, Colorado.

The Kansas City Star greatly reduced the obituary written by Dad, I will post a copy once my sister emails it to me. I had hoped to have it by now, thus the delay in posting an announcement here.

Dad and I had planned one last project to work on together for HNGS the week he died.

Our family thanks everyone for all of their thoughts & prayers.

Larry Hamilton, Jr.

Donations

HNGS is exempt from federal tax under the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code, as a Section 509(a)(1) or (2) organization under Section 501(c)(3). Donations of materials, equipment, books, money, or remembrances in your will are always welcome, and governed by this non-profit statement.

The free bill paying service MyCheckFree began a program for making donations to IRS listed charities in 2005. However, there was not enough use of this service, so it was discontinued April 12, 2006.

We will investigate new methods for making donations online. Unfortunately, there are few or no options for donations that benefit non-profit organizations 100%. We will post a new method of online giving ASAP. This will most likely be PayPal.
