Newsflash

All of the public facing static web pages have been imported into our online Content Management System (CMS) . This will enable all visitors to use the search feature to easily find all of the public information on our site. This will also simplify adding future information to our site.

If you find any broken links, please use the mail form to alert the webmaster.

The member's area has access to all of its static pages, but they have not yet been incorporated into the CMS, thus are not searchable from the search engine. It will be an on-going project to move those pages directly into the CMS.

As one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, many of the surname Hamilton have family stories that they are related to this famous individual. HNGS is not limited to the descendants of Alexander Hamilton, but because so many seek information about him, this area of our site is designed to present all the information available to us. Several members of HNGS are descendants of Alexander.

    ALEXANDER HAMILTON'S FAMILY TREE

    Hamilton DNA Project seeks input from known direct male descendants of Alexander Hamilton.

    We have been alerted to some problems with the divisions of generations in the genealogy posted here. We will make corrections and post them ASAP!

    The information on our web site about Alexander is from a book by his wife and grandson, Alexander Hamilton: Protrait of a Prodigy, David Loth,1939. . We will be posting the references to this book soon. It was originally printed in the December 1989 Connector.

    This page links to four separate web pages that detail the genealogy of Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury of the United States of America (the person on the ten dollar bill). Since many people hope to find a link to a famous person, here is some information on a famous Hamilton. Let us know if you are a relation in more than name to this famous Hamilton.
